# Your Agent

> Chat, identity, and the soul that gives your agent its voice.

Your agent is the thing you talk to — and the thing that acts for you on-chain. It has two halves: a **chat** you drive it through, and an **identity + soul** that make it *yours*.

## Chat

The chat is your agent's terminal. Ask it anything, or tell it to do something:

* "What's my balance?"
* "Swap \$50 of ETH for USDC."
* "Send 10 USDC to vitalik.eth."
* "What's the market doing today?"

When your agent takes an on-chain action, it hands back a **card with the result** — the swap, the send, the receipt — not raw transaction internals. You stay in the loop; the mechanics stay out of your way.

## Identity & soul

Every agent has an on-chain **identity** and a **soul** — a short profile that defines its personality, tone, and voice. Two agents can run the same features and still feel completely different, because the soul shapes how they talk and act.

You can edit your agent's soul from the **My Agnt** tab: set its name, its personality, and how it shows up.

<Tip>
  The soul is the difference between "a chatbot" and "*your* agent." Give it a voice you actually want to talk to.
</Tip>

## Ownership

Your identity and soul are tied to an agent you own on-chain — not an account that lives only on a server. That ownership is what makes the agent, and everything it holds, yours.
